DRAFT — Not legal advice. Not in force until counsel reviews and we publish a final version.

Terms of Service

Status: DRAFT · Last updated: 2026-10-18 (Hawaii time)

These draft terms describe how we intend LockdownLaunch (“Service”) to work. They are a working outline for early waitlist users and are not a binding contract until replaced by a final version.

1. What the Service is

LockdownLaunch provides automated, mostly read-only security and launch-readiness checks against a URL you submit, plus optional reports and fix assistance. It is not a penetration test, compliance certification, or guarantee that an application is secure.

2. Authorization

You may only submit URLs you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Deep checks (for example Supabase RLS or Firebase rules probes) require ownership verification and your attestation. Unauthorized scanning of third-party systems is prohibited.

3. Acceptable use

No abusing the Service to attack others, bypass rate limits, scrape unrelated targets, or reverse-engineer the scanner for harm. We may suspend access for abuse.

4. Results and limitations

Findings can include false positives or miss issues. A grade or “launch-ready” certificate only reflects automated checks at scan time for that URL. You remain responsible for your application, users, and any professional review required for your industry.

5. Fees

Paid tiers (Launch Report, Fix-It-For-Me, Watch) will be charged via Stripe when enabled. Prices shown on the marketing site may change before launch. Refunds: we intend a refund if a paid scan fails to run; details TBD in the final terms.

6. Fix-It-For-Me

If you grant repository or project access, changes are proposed for your approval (for example pull requests). You review and merge. We are not liable for downtime or regressions from applied fixes.

7. Disclaimers

Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LockdownLaunch is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, API bills from leaked keys you shipped, or data breaches of your application.
